    1970 engine pull bracket

Where is the correct location for the rear engine pull bracket on a 1970 with a 350? Thanks

    Michael-----

The bracket attaches to the REAR of the passenger side cylinder head. There is one 3/8-16 bolt that fastens it to the head. A locating tab on the bracket fits into one of the other bolt holes. It's not too hard to figure out with the bracket in-hand. There's only one way it can really attach.

      Joe & Michael,
In 1970, and other early C3s, Mark IV rear lifting bracket attaches to the head as you describe. Small block with manual trans bracket attaches to the upper of the two vertically aligned bell housing to cylinder case fasteners. Small block with M40 does not have a rear lifting bracket.
