    Yes, that's the part number evolution, but without drawings or careful side by side comparison/measurements, we don't know what, if any changes, there were to the geometry that would effect CR.

      NHRA specs for 340-365 HP 1962-3-4

      they all list the same piston,.122 dome,5.3 ccs. heads 1962 62.2 ccs,1963 59.2 ccs,1964 58.6 ccs

        Curious how the chamber volume went down in '63 with no changes and then again in '64 with the chamber radiusing for the 2.02" valve. I think there may have been some "specsmanship" going on to help racers get the highest CR possible.

            the other source i have is i would guess SAE,because it list everything,cam specs,cam#,carb# etc, show the same ccs

              My copy of the '63 Corvette specs list TOTAL combustion chamber volume, but the head chamber volume is not listed.

                mine lists 62.2 ccs head 4.72 ccs gasket

                    That's interesting. I just learned something. I always assumed 62 and 63 castings were basically the same.
