It depends which engine you have. For 1975, there were 2 engines available---the base L-48 and the L-82. If you don't know which you have, and assuming that the engine has not been previously changed, you can tell which you have by reference to the VIN number. If the 5th character in the sequence is a "J", then you have an L-48; if it's a "T", then you have an L-82.

The L-48 cam was GM #3896929. It's no longer available but the GM replacement, which is virtually identical, is GM #14088839 and is available. I understand you can purchase this cam at a super price from Sallee Chevrolet in Oregon. These cams have in/ex durations at .050" lift of 195/202 degrees and in/ex VALVE lift of .390"/.410".

The L-82 used cam GM #3896962 which is still available from GM. The in/ex duration at 0.050" lift is 222/222 degrees and the in/ex VALVE lift is .450"/.460".
