Tom, I don't know what to tell you. Destination charges were figured on a scale or formula. I remember customers complaining that their Chevy dealer was 50 miles from the producing plant and yet they were charged the same destination charge as a dealer 1500 miles from the same plant! Unless you can find several 1974 dealer invoices for similar cars that show the charges and compare them, I would say that there is no way that I know of to back track into the correct figure. Maybe others on the board will have more insight than I.

Tom,
The build sheet and shipper invoice for my '74 shows destination charge was $43.00 to central Missouri. I know later years the destination charge was the same no matter where it went, but I cant say that for sure for all '74s.
