Just wanted to pass on something I tried over the weekend,the artical in the recent " Restorer " made me curious to see if there was a build sheet on our 73coupe. I was able to get my hands on a "Sea Snake" a lighted camara on a flexable cord with a color monitor,(used by plumbers to see inside pipes)..I was able to find that the build sheet was indeed still firmly attached to the top of the tank,(found on the right side of tank).
Just wanted to pass on a "very" helpful tip..now the recovery of this valuable
document can begin.

very interesting!!! i have a plumber at my disposal,(no pun intended!!)since im a builder,,, i will see if he has the so called,"sea snake" you mentioned,, great idea,, as im wanting to find mine on my 78 pc,,,, thanks for the info,, doug

I had purchased a '73 L-82, TH400, coupe with 15,687 original miles on the car, 2 years ago. The "tank sticker" was also on the right side and about 5 o'clock position. It was completely legible and readable by just pulling down the rubber boot and shining a flashlight on it. I left it for the new owner, as I was selling the car.
