C2 Seat Buckle Paint

Want to repaint a 1964 white seat belt. What type paint was used and is what is a good shacker can to use??

Note; when I sanded the buckle it has a dark red primer on it. Some also showed on the inside.

Alan,

For priming the buckle, go to your local NAPA store and buy the Martin Senour brand, gray colored self etching spray primer.

For the white color of the buckles, I'd find a good quality matte finish white, either the Martin Senour of Krylon brands.
