    Re: no big deal as

Your trouble is that you are in that C6 section.

John Z and more are still in where the real Corvettes are.

Re: but when john gives a answer to a question

I appreciate the ones who after you answer their "what do you think this is worth" question, they PM you or email you with a not printable two-word reply.

They ask your opinion, then don't really want it, and worse, mad you gave it.

Corvette Forum - try the Elder Section

elder cars, that is - the C1-C2 section is, for the most part, a world apart from the C6 section, the C5 section the C4 section and even the C3 section. Older cars in the C1-C2 section mean older owners (generally); plus the C1-C2 section is the smallest community so you don't have too many hit and run fools, folks there tend to know each other.

I do agree that it is not like this tech forum, but then again, I feel more comfortable asking a silly "I should know better" question over there than here; I'll admit right here and now to being a little hesitant about posting on this forum to this day, and I have been an NCRS dues paying member for many years (on and off, anyway ) and have been posting here for at least 3 years now . . . . both forums fill slightly different needs for me, Corvette-wise. Certainly for correctness and originality questions, I'd search the archives here and maybe post here.

Re: they just cut me off over at the corvette fore

I went off and did the search. Interestingly, if I search your ID and then all posts that you made, it says you have a post in that thread. But opening the thread will not find you there.

I like that many say they would rather spend $10 than go to the dealer.
