    C1 Horn Rebuild

My low note horn in my 58 worked intermittently this morning then stopped altogether. It was rebuilt less than six months ago. The diaphragm was replaced at that time. Does anyone have any recommendations as to who I should send it to for repair?

I guess that would depend on who rebuilt the horn six months ago. I had both my horns rebuilt by Gary Steinkellner at the Hornworks for $169 and it took 10 days, door to door. I was very pleased with the work and performance. PT http://www.classiccarhorns.com

He rebuilds horns 1964 and newer, maybe not '58's. PT

That's a nice looking set of C2 horns, Patrick. I don't know who rebuilt mine as I bought them from Grossmueller's. I do know that they had a lot of problems with the horns they were selling at that time. Mine nade it through a Chapter meet and the Western Regional without fail so I should be happy for that.

I had Ron Goralski rebuild my C-1 horns. His work is excellent and his pricing is reasonable. Also his warranty is the best. I accidently mis wired the horn relay
and burnt the points on the horns. Ron had rebuilt them 3 years earlier and I returned them for repair. He exchanged them free of charge stating stuff happens.

John try turning the adjustment screw sometimes that will get it working again. Rob

Good suggestion, Rob. But the adjustment screw didn't do it.

Ron Goralski rebuilt my 67 horns and I have been extremely satisfied.
