    C2 Spark Plugs

    Hello,

Can anyone recommend a replacement spark plug for my 1967 427/435.
I have used my last set of AC 43N and 44N's. All dealers in this area recommend
AC R43XLS and R44XLS. These however are an extended tip plug and I am afraid
of piston contact. Has anyone used the R44XLS without problems. A friend of
mine has used Autolite 403, however he says they could slightly cold for
street applications. Thank you in advance for any help. John

for street only driving i would use R45XLS and if you have stock 435 HP pistons no problem.the extended tip plug sees fuel wash which helps cool the plug so a 45 will work well on the street

Thank you for your help Clem. I would also like to thank you and members of
Corvette Club of Western Pennsylvania Inc. for another fantastic show this past
Sunday. You are all a group of "Class" people. My son and I became new members
and look forward to meeting all of you.
