Hi Richard sometimes the door bolt plates inside the door loosen up. To check open door fully and hold it with one hand by bottom and the other half way up and try to rock it to see if there is any movement or play between the door and the hinges, the plates are riveted to the door, to repair them you have to rerivet them.
