It depends on if you are doing it for sound, looks, or selling. If sound, I'd prefer the undercar since you don't have the hot sidepipe and you can order at the drive-thru. Ever order at the drive-thru with sidepipes? I used to.

Notice how everyone has given advise on a lot of things he never talked about, like judging points, returning to orginal, etc.

But if you are judging, you have a complete non-original exhaust under there. With glass packs, you have only the muffler problem. And you could slip them off relatively easy to slide the stock mufflers on if going to a show.

I'd bet I could swap the pipes and mufflers from my 72 to my 71 in not much time for judging. Having a lift helps, of course. In fact, if I ever get the 71 restoration done that's what I'll do. Then I'll put the chambered system back on.
