I took the master cylinder off my 65 to rebuild it and noticed the casting number is not the same as the NCRS book says it should be. My book says it should be a cast number of 2225032 however its a 618967 cast number. Anyone have a book to find out what the 618967 cast is off of?

The 1965 non-power master cylinder was a Bendix-manufactured and supplied part. The "2225032" was a Bendix casting number and not a GM or Delco number.
The "618967" casting number that you report is also not a GM casting number and I have no reference for it. However, the 1965 Corvette non-power master cylinder assembly was Bendix part number 618960. So, I would say that it's a safe bet that "618967" is some other Bendix part number, perhaps one used for later SERVICE replacement castings for the Corvette master cylinder.In Appreciation of John Hinckley -
