It appears that with the way the AC is constantly cycling off and on that I am ready for a recharge of R12 provided it doesnt cost me an arm and a leg. I am ready to convert this to R134 reading how simple it is, but when I look at the location of the low side port, I cant help but to beleive that if I screw on an adapter, it will hit the hood. Am I nuts? Who has the adapters and are they short enough to fit so they dont hit the hood? I assume you could rig something if I could find the R12 connector but I think that might not be in the spirit of the law.... any help?
