Pace Car Go Kart

I have a friend who was wondering what kind of interest is out there for Corvette Pace Car Go Karts.

His Kart has been used, but he was smart enought to take the body off and just let his kid run the chassis.

I did my part, I asked the question.

I figure the two that I have are worth about 250.00 to 350.00 a piece. I have never tried to sell them so that is a guess, but I think it is close.

Roy, Saw 3 Corvette go-cart bodies at a swap meet last weekend. Old bodys only--$175-250 ea. In two weeks I'm sure there will be more at Pate Swap Meet. It's at the new Texas Motor Speedway. You should come, it's BIG. I'll get Woods and we can walk it Saturday. Bob

Does anyone have any kind of history on the 1978 Pace Car Karts?

How many made, etc.?

Are there any books or avenues to follow up on?
