The heater core went last night when I pulled in the driveway from a run around the block. now I really have no heat.
I am going to bypass the core for now until I get the time to embark on the fabled vette heater core replacement that everyone speaks so highly of.
On that note, does anyone know if the 77 vette has the modern "trip switch" that will not let the A/C compressor turn on should their be insufficient refrigerant in the system? I am curious since the A/C compressor in my car does not kick on. I was thinking it could be this safety relay valve but I am not sure that it even exists on the car.
