    Pierre:
This may be a common occurrance with 56 and 57 Corvettes. I notice the same thing on my '57, especially the temp gauage, when the outside temperature is a little cool in the Spring or Fall. I have heard of others with the same problem. After driving for awhile the condensation goes away.

At that time of the year I turn on my parking lights and leave them on till the engine warms up , the gage light bulbs (heat) keep it from doing it. (try it).

Mine were doing it here in California where the humidity isn't a problem. I pulled the light sockets out of the back of the guages and left them out for a couple of dry days. That let the humidity out of the guages and allowed them to dry out inside. I haven't had a problem since.

My '57 did the same thing - I just ignored it.

Sometimes mine (56) also fog up and then clear up after a while. I'll try removing the bulb and see what happens.

If I remember a bulb does get hot and water don't like that , called evaporation and that's why I turn the parking lights on in day light till it's gone
