1960 vin number

hi, where do i find the vin on my 1960 ?. i have looked in the normal places but no luck. it has been in storage 25 years and i am trying to decide to sell or restore it. thanks lee 1202

If it is below about 1650, it's in the door jamb. After that, it gets spotwelded to the steering column on the other side of the firewall.

hey, thanks a lot.. its on the steering coloum, but some yahoo has sprayed undercoating all over it so it really hard to spot.

be careful when cleaning the vin plate. its spot-welded to the mast jacket and not too well. mike
