62 Power Top Assembly

Does anyone know where I can find reference material for a 62 Power Top Assembly? Also, are all c1 assemblies correct for the 62, or is there a particular model only associated with this year. Thank so much. Deb

58 to 62 are all the same , 56 different by it's self, 57 different by it's self
But many parts are interchangable but not all! 56 frame is all by it's self

Check the assembly instruction manual AIM for your 62..normally there is a fairly detailed drawing of the contraption!

Experts on these systems are few and far between..but guys like Roy who have worked on them should be able to help.

Thank you, Roy. This helps a great deal. My car is a power top car, but of course, the assembly is not there. The holes are in the trunk where the assembly should go and some very limited wiring. I just wanted to be sure if I ever found an assembly for another year that it would be correct for my car. I am trying to put this car back to original as much as possible. Thanks again for the info. I'm sure I'll have many more questions. Deb

Joe: I did see an assembly diagram in the AIM. Now I have the task of finding a unit. I have seen parts on ebay but have never been sure whether these were the correct ones. This will be an eventful search, I am sure. Thanks again for the advice. Deb
