In the 68 assembly manual it shows a rivet coming in from each side of the shifter consol into the steel reiforcment piece. I have looked at a number of consoles through the years and only seen this piece riveted to the top of the fiberglass section of the shifter consol. Anyone seen it any different?? Thanks, Terry
