I have a question about the Frost Blue seat belts for a December built 59. I got rid of my stock seat belt because they looked bad. This was in 1963 and I do not remember how they were made.
My question now that I am looking to replace them is how many panels do the webs have and was the buckle’s lever painted or not?
The reason I am asking is because I have hear some December cars might have had the number of panels (4) like the 58’s where others say that the 59’s belts had (6) panels.
I believe that Corvette Central has belts listed as “810” 6 panel & painted Lever for the 58’s. They then have the “810” listed with 4 panel & Hammertone Lever for the 59-62’s.
Can a judging Team Leader listing or one of his group that can help please respond to this post or e-mail.
