67 Seatback with headrest

Hi. I just got a set of plastic seatbacks from Al Knoch. The area where the chrome trim goes has been trimmed so that it isn't straight. I assume I need to further trim this so it is straight prior to installing the chrome. My car also has headrests, so I am wondering if this is an issue in how everything will fit. Unfortunately I don't have the old seatbacks for comparison.

Can anyone tell me if the headrest necessitates t******* differently, and how far from the vertical part of the back I should trim to?

The seatbacks for a headrest seat and a non headrest seat are exactly the same. No t******* required, they dont touch or surround the headrests.

I could use some advice from someone who has installed a set of the AL Knoch repro seat backs. they definitely don't look like they could be installed as-is. Looks like someone trimmed them during happy hour in Texas.
