You're talking about "Big George" Wronowski. He still works there at Bill Kay Chevrolet. It's the only job he's ever had. He started there in 1969 out of high school, as I recall. Amazing in today's world.

I've spoken via phone and in person to Big George. He's always at Bloomington.

He can't remember my car and says that he has no paperwork.

The Bavolski's had 2 sons, ? George and ? Kevin. That's where GK came from. Used to be Fuller O'Keefe Chevrolet. Bavloski married an O'Keefe girl. Chuck

Yup, Wronowski. That's the name I couldn't remember. Next time you talk to George, ask him who got him the job at GK.

I think the owners was Harry Belovsky, X Navy man. Sons were Gary and Kevin. I well remember Phil O'keefe Chev on Burlington ave until the late 50's.

That was the town I lived in and I do remember a few of the new 68-70 Corvette owners.

If you remember the original owner of a Monaco Orange 69 convertible, 427/400 Automatic with factory side pipes and a matching color hardtop, let me know. Would have been sold there in early September of 69. Chuck

I still know two guys that worked there in 69-70. (mechanics) I'll ask if they remember the car.
