C3 Window

I have a 69 with manual windows. The problem I have is that I can not get the windows to go all the way up to the T top weather stripping. They are about 1 inch short. Otherwise I am having no problem adjusting the windows to operate as they should. I have the same problem on both sides. One worse than the other. What am I missing?

Did you adjust the stops at the top of the tracks?

Yes, I do not even have the stops installed.

First check to see if all the rollers are on the arms or if their are any loose parts in the bottom of the door. If you find no missing parts loosen all the bolts that hold the tracks with the window up as far as it will go. Then with the door open see if you can pull the window up higher and if you can tighten the bolts while holding the glass up. Be very carefull not to break the glass shutting the door.
