C1 Kick Panel Sheet Metal

Hi all,

I am putting the metal on my kick panels. One edge of the metal is held by the stainless trim piece. The other edge is either held by nothing or the metal edge folds over the edge of the fiberglass. The repro doesn't look too bad mounted with the metal wrapped over the edge of the kick panel fiberglass, but when I examine my original metal it doesn't look like the metal wraps over the edge of the fiberglass.

So, what is the verdict? Does the metal wrap around or not?

FWIW, the metal on my original 60 kick panels does not wrap around the fiberglass. The windlace butts up tight and somewhat hides the metal edge.
