    Jim,

    The correct carburetor for your car, unless you have an L-88, is a Rochester 4MV Quadrajet. The Rochester part number will vary depending on the engine horsepower and the type transmission, but will be something like 7029215 (427 ci, 390 hp, 4 speed).

    The AC solenoid bracket attaches to the front left corner of the carburetor; there may be another attachment bolt to the manifold, I can't make it out from the photo I have.

    If you are going to have the car judged, you will lose points on the carb and the manifold.
