I have a 1965 owners manual how could I tell if is original beside having the mail away post card and one helm coupon in the rear of booklet? If anyone knows I sure would appreciate knowing also. Thank you.

Re: Owners Manual
Generally, non-original items will have a "Reprinted With Permission of GM" disclosure on them. More important, the pictures in original books are crisp and clear vs. being 'fuzzy' which is a telltale of a re-issued or reproduction book...- Top

Re: Owners Manual
Frank,
The fuzzy photos which appear in the more common Helm, Inc. re-issue manuals that Jack refers to are difficult to detect even to the experienced eye. The best way to determine this is to have a known original next to the manual being analyzed. Sometimes it's difficult even to the experienced eye. The majority on Owners Manuals out there today are re-issue manuals. Nothing wrong with that just don't pay full price for one.- Top
