I am in the process of researching the standard 2 1/4" 9-leaf spring used from 1963 through 1977. I am at the point where I desperately need help from someone who has the Assembly Instruction Manual for 1977 who can tell me what part number is listed in the AIM and what spring rate is given. Also, I'm trying to find out if all 9-leaf springs that came on 77 cars were 2 1/4" wide and if that all had leaves 1-6 arched and leaves 7,8,9 straight. If you own an original 77 with the standard suspension and you know something about your rear leaf spring could you please contact me?
