    If this doesn't do it, you may have the internal cable slightly twisted. It's easy to be one setting off at one end leaving the cable slightly torqued. Loosen one end and let it find it's own center and then reinsert. If it is the slightest bit twisted, it will turn like a plumbers snake and rattle within the casing making the noise you described. Don't ask how I know.................good luck.
