65 frame numbers

Hi guys i just noticed that now i might have to do my frame numbers over ,i recieved my stencil from LIC for a 65 it is as follows 3871317 above then 303196-4 . i think the numbers after the - should be 20-29 and not 4, i think 4 was used on 1963 frames. so it should read 303196-20 or 21-29 can anyone verify that i am right, and how could they screw up this stencil ,my luck i guess. jim

According to 1965 Judging Guide, this number can be any mumber from 0 to 9.

thats right john but 0-9 has to come after the 2 so -4 cant be, it would have to be 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 0r 29.so see whatever 0-9 is used it has to come after the 2. or try this, wrong =303196-4 correct would be 303196-20 or 303196-21 or 303196-22 and so on. now if they would have had the 2 before the 4 in the one they sent me that would be ok as it would have been 303196-24 but for some reason they left out the 2 and just went with the 4 and thats not correct for 65. jim.

You are correct - they sent you a 1963 stencil.
