I wanted to thank Jerry Fuccillo for his recent article on black phosphate plating. I used Jerry's procedure to black phosphate plate the PAL nuts that attach the heater box to the firewall on my '66. As per jerry's suggestion I combined the chemical ingredients I got from Grant Wong and the PAL nuts came out perfect and it took about 45 minutes from start to finish. The plating has those tiny sparkles in the sun and it was so easy to do. Thanks Jerry and Grant!
