Has anyone been successful at using the GM 4 pin HEI module to bypass the TI Amplifier yet retain the TI harness? What would the wiring look like, pink wire, white resistor wires, black wire all that stuff...? This particular application is a 66 427/425 motor.

Re: 4 Pin HEI Module Firing K-66 TI System
i would think one would need a 4 conductor wire harness for the hei module,(2 for the trigger coil- 1 for 12v- 1 for the coil - side---i think the ti harness has 3 wire conductor,(i think),---so you would be short 1 wire---you could re-wrap a ti harness and incorporate the 4th wire but i'm not sure how you could get the 4th wire intergrated into the 3 conductor connector at the amp end---somebody out there, maybe clem or jack might have a solution for this--if someone does we can save $145.00 for the "fix" solid state amp repair kit sold by various vendors and have an auto parts inexpensive fix when it fails on a cross country trip---regards--phil- Top
