`57 T-3 Headlight adjustment

Are there adjustment specs in the A.I.M. for setting T3 headlights on a `57? If so, could someone please give them to me. Thanks much, Jim

I always use the garage door. I don't have any specs.

Did you look in the ST-12 Service Guide? If it's not in there then it's in the regular Chevy Service manual. I'll look when I get home tomorrow, but using a garage door works really well.

I don`t have the service guide or manual. Last resort would be the garage door.

The ST-12 and Passenger Car Shop Manual will tell you to use the special Guide aimer tools (Guide-branded commercial Hopkins aimers of the era); the '57 Assembly Manual (Section 12, sheet 14.00) shows you the SAE ("garage door") method, which was used to audit the accuracy of the special aimers.
