... Would like to get my hands on a temp send unit that may actually be close to accurate in its calibration. An additional bonus would be one that is correct in appearance. Are there any sources out there other than a junk yard? Thanks, Dennis

I have one removed from a 56 Chevy original .same as Corvette you can have it stamped {made in USA 12V} / send address best ROY

roy: isn't a 56 chevy pass car temp sending unit the pin or nail style? dipstick wants the 57 up style as i recall.mike

It's the slide style not pin style
