    I met Joe Lucia!

...and Dale Pearman, and Lou Lapham, and Patrick Hulst, and Franz, and Jeff Salz, and Bill Becker, and and and damn-it, I didn't get a copy of that list we all signed, and oh yeah, David Grayson he gave me one of his cards.

Thanks to Dale we didn't get kicked out of our spot where were meeting. And by the way, when I finally quit my job and sell my business I'm going to let my hair grow back out like Dale and Lou (I'm envious right now --- me, a long hair disguised as a short hair).

Anyway glad to meet everyone that was there and don't worry, I'll remember the guys I didn't mention right off when I see your name and messages on the NDB. TBarr #24014

PS: And Dale, I don't care what those Church Street "bridge" guys say about the wine, I told them you'd be back next year to give them their ride in the 62. TB

      Those That Wuz There!

I was supprised to associate faces with names. We develop relationships electronically and so doing we come to form mental images of what a person looks like. Then when we meet them we tend to disbeleive that they are really who they say they are! STRANGE process! At any rate, after meeting y'all I can now enjoy a more accurate and honest visualization of who I'm arguing with on the DB!

I learned that Joe Lucia is pronounced Lou-CEE-a. Ho-SAY Lou-CEE-a! I figured him for a bespeckled tall skinny guy about 38 years old with the GM Engineering Library in a trailer pulled by a Camero! NOT!

I'll post the folks in attendance at our Bloomington meeting if no one objects to their name being listed. In the meantime anyone wanting a copy need only e-mail me.

I had a BLAST at Bloomington! I captured a near-NOS original shock absorber set in the swap meet dated for a January 1962 Corvette and that made the trip worthwhile. The DM meeting was icing on the cake.

Actually Patrick, your "line" was exactly part of my motivation to make the extra effort to get there and meet you guys this year. Just had to use it, and good to meet up with you. TBarr #24014
