Re: C3 storage tray over jack compartment question
No rubber bumpers on my early 1970 -- as I posted above. Also no holes for the bumpers on the side ledge and no rear ledge on the PRODUCTION box.
The SERVICE box #333578 does have the small holes on the side ledges, but no ledge on the back. The 333578 SERVICE box that I have (not for sale) was produced in 1974.

Re: C3 storage tray over jack compartment question
Jim-----
The tray on my 1969 has no rubber bumpers, at all. So, it sounds like the rubber bumpers might be another difference (besides the rear edge lip) between the 68 tray and the 69-73.
Based upon Terry's description of the GM #333578 which was used in PRODUCTION from L73 through 1975, it appears that it's pretty much the same as the 69-E73, too. Certainly, there's no significant difference in depth.
