67 small block hood

Does anyone know the value of a used (in good shape) small block hood. I just got the car and have not started getting the 67 catalogues to look up what a repro hood would cost. I know shipping would be a problem. Should i just scrap it.

someone put a big block hood on the car and both hoods came with the deal.The small block hood therefor is extra.I could offer it to that little red riding girl. She might just wolf it up.

I would hang on to it for awhile until you know what you got and what you want to do with it. If that is the original hood, I would keep it regardless.

The person I bought the 67 from advertised it with a big block stinger hood on the car and the original small block hood painted the same correct color to go with the sale. The small block hood was therefor extra.He forgot to send the small block hood and I suggested to him that he just send me a check instead of shipping the hood. He offered 400.00 and after a lot of dickering I got him down to 300.00 . He is going to send me a check

I would get the hood shipped

I would make sure I got the hood. It may come in handy if you ever sell the car.
