1964 air coupe; should all of the pull-cables associated tith the heater and a/c be lubricated and, if so, with what? Also, should the plate that the tempering valve lever rides on be lubricated and, if so, with what? Thanks

I found it useful to hang the control cables vertically, knob-end down, and apply a few drops of light oil (like 3-in-1 or sewing machine oil) at the top and work the cables over a couple of days so they work smoothly with low effort. Lubriplate works well on the lever/cam linkages.- Top
