As Rev Ernst said before, there is some good news and bad news. Good news is, I have the original engine and transmission for S/N 22278. The bad news, as the story goes, is that it is not a 427. This engine is one of the restamped products of the Corvette Plant as documented by Al Grenning. It would be nice to reunite with its 'birth' chassis.
