Excellent thread below on red '63 belts prompts me to ask if others have seen the dated ink stamp on the underside of the paddle ('64-66E ?). This one is 10_29_64, but it looks like the belt tag has a '63 on what's left of the upper right corner. The stitching pattern and Irving tag position is correct for early '65s buckle end [per '65 TIM&JG](and maybe '64's ?).
I bought the male and female belts and buckle at a Puyallup swap meet in the early '80s.
I've seen the ink stamp on other buckles as well, but you can imagine that the darker colors are hard to decipher.
