I have a corvette f/i distributor. I would like to know what it was meant to fit. the numbers on the tag are 1110906 7 L 18. the tag looks like it has the original rivets. its a tach drive unit, no external points adjustment and has dual points. I have looked on the net and it says the 1110906 distributor was used on early 57 corvettes without a tach drive. this is definately a tach drive unit and the date code looks like it was made 18th nov 57. which looks like it would have been fitted to a 58 fuellie. but the only number ref. I can find on the 1110906 says early 57 fuelie vettes, with no tach drive.. I thought the top housing might have been changed but the date code on the tag says it probably for a early 58. sounds contradicting. let me know what you can come up with. worst thing is I have a 57 fuellie and a 59 fuelie. and if it is for a 58 fuelie, well I guess I have to decide to keep it or not. anyways any help would be breatly appreciated. thanks don
