1965 coupe, Having trouble getting sound out of the stock radio before reinstalling. As per Jack Humphrey I verified that the speaker was the original.
Next on to the antenna to make sure I have continuity. I have continuity alright. At the radio end the centertip goes to ground and the shielding goes to the antenna. Is that normal? I looked under the rear and can see the lead that screws into the antenna assembly. Looks quite normal. Antenna assembly is the retracting unit and I do not believe at this point that it has been replaced.
