Anyone know what a "267" coil is? I wonder if it is some sort of service replacement for late midyear TI applications.

I'm not familiar with a "267" coil. Can you otherwise describe it? Is the "267" seen on the side of the coil in RAISED letters? Does the top of the coil have the old-style, raised Delco-Remy script? Are there any other numbers on the coil? All this and anything else will help.In Appreciation of John Hinckley -

Joe, I have not pulled the coil yet, but I can not see any characters anywhere on the side of the coil. The 267 numbers are raised, very small, and on the top of the coil, along with old style Delco Remy script. If more characters are found when I pull it, I will pass that along. thanks, EverettComment
