The philips screw heads at the top of my chrome windshield posts are stripped out. Is their any fix other than drilling them out and re-tapping the holes? Anyone done this and have any helpful tips on what to do and what not to do?

Re: 1960 Windshield Posts
I'd use an EZ-Out (I think that's what they're called.) They're available at most any auto parts store. You drill a small bole, then insert the EZ-Out and it grabs the screw so you can take it out. I don't think there are rust or corrosion issues with the nut-plate that's inside the windshield post, so it should come out pretty easily.- Top
