Now that I have successfully installed and sealed my new windshield (I used urethane windshield sealant all around the gasket, both inside and out - I am VERY sure that she won't leak), it is now time to install my newly polished windshield stainless trim, and pillar weatherstrips. In looking at the AIM pp81 and 88, I am confused about the ORDER OF INSTALLATION of the inner and outer windshield trim, and the pillar to vent assembly seals/retainers.
In addition to the assembly order, I would like to replicate (to the best of my ability), the sealants used in the various locations here. The AIM gives at least 4 different part numbers, which mean nothing to me. I have a package of black 3M strip caulk, but need to know what else I will need to be in compliance with the TIM&JG.
