    Wire wheels

    Here is what I know:

They are a true wire wheel with 30 spokes and a center cap that looks like the cross flags from a 77/79 vett. They are also designed to clear the brake calipers. I'm able to make out a patent number of 4.226.479 are these Weld Wheel or Tru-Spokes?? Any idea of aftermarket or could they have been offer by GM over the counter??

Thanks in advance for your help

    Re: Wire wheels

I just went through some old boxed magazines to recycle and found two very old Eklers parts books from the early 80's. Looking through them last week I remember seeing some wire wheels. Mayby someone at Eklers could help in the identification.
