    Need Help with Hood

    I'm away from home right now. I have no access to any catalogs, and I'm too busy at work to surf to find a price.

    How much is a repro 66 BB hood from one of the vendors? I found someone here at work who has one for a 65, and he is not sure how much he wants for it.

    Also, is there a difference between 65 and 66 BB hoods? If there is, what is the difference?

    Sorry to make you guys work, but I need to cut this deal if I can before midnight.

      Vendor price for new BB repro hoods is in the $650 to $825 range.

      I think the 65 had the hood support on the right side (as did very early 66) while most 66's had it on the left (driver) side. Externally I believe they are the same.

          Also 66 would have provisions for the emblem on the LF. That includes cutouts in the under support framework.
