I had my L46 (69 350/350) redone about 2 years ago. The sending unit they used did not let me read the temp - I believe it was for a warning light.
I finally replaced it yesterday. I am getting a reading of about 225 degrees. Is this normal in the C3s? If not, what can I do to help lower this?
Another question is in regards to the timing:
What should the timing be set at?
At what RPM?
What should the Dwell be set to?
SHould the vacuum advance be connected or disconnected.
My manual said it would be on the sticker on the inside of the hood. It is not there anymore.
Any comments would be great
thanks
