My 72 wiper motor didn't pump so I took it out to replace the large pump seal. It now pumps like a deamon however, whenever I turn on the wipers, it pumps contiously without letup. Does anyone know what the corrective action might be? I think it might be in the setup with the small swithc
In addition, when I placed the wiper arms back on the wiper motor shaft I set them in the original position as shown by the wear marks on the sliding adjustment lever under the door. However, each time I test them the wipers do not fully seat, which prevents the door from closing. The wiper arm adjustment looks simple enough in operation and principle, yet when I loosen the two nuts and position the arm fully down, it won't go fully down after each operation. Again, am I missing something simple?
