Has anyone ever drilled out the old or incorrect (pop rivets) grille bracket rivets on a 1966 or 67 and replaced them with the correct style rivets without completely removing the grille. It looks as if I can remove the mounting screws and slide the grille out enough along the bumper mounting brackets that go through the grille to drill out the current pop rivets and install the correct ones using my 1/8 rivet setting tool and my air hammer.
