    Placebo effect

    Most guys who go out and buy (fill in your own dollar amount) dollars worth of smake oil always think it's faster. The best example are the guys who put an aftermarket exhaust system on their bike and claim it's faster despite the fact that it usually upsets the carb calibration and is usually slower. For sure what they did buy was more noise and resentment from non-bikers.

    Anyway, hopefully the readers will realize what the Pertronics offers. It took me sometime to learn how to make a single point work on a SHP engine. The Pertronics would certainly provide more consistent performance, but I'll probably stick with my blueprinted distributor and HD points.
